Resumen
In nonsense verse, which is characterized by a particular humour quite different to other linguistic forms, the toponym, or less frequently, the anthroponym often triggers the mechanism on which the whole work is based. In this study the author analyses the role played by such names and arrives at the conclusion that the suggestions – sounds and images – evoked in the reader make these words special from a literary point of view.
