Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the use of pseudonyms by J.-H. Rosny Aîné, the author of the well-known novel The War of fire (1911). Behind the pseudonym «Rosny», used from 1890 to 1909, lie two Belgian authors: Joseph Henri Honoré Boex and his younger brother Séraphin Justin François Boex.
