Dai ‘nomi dei dipinti’ ai ‘nomi dipinti’

Abstract

The paper is a reflection on proper names in the context of works of art, based on the analytical corpus of paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, including the portrait of a Lady with an Ermine in the Czartoryski Museum in Krakow. The analysis of proper names is carried out from two perspectives: (1) the name of the painting and (2) the name depicted in the painting (painted name).
