Un “pinocchiofilo” che non crede nelle “desanctislandie”: Giorgio Manganelli creatore di deonomastici letterari

Abstract

Among the many neologisms to be found in the works of Giorgio Manganelli, an important place is occupied by words created from the names of writers or literary characters. My article presents concrete examples of the main procedures used by Manganelli to create his literary deonomastics, and to enhance the very close intertwining of linguistic data and content evident in the prose of an author who often uses lexical creativity as a tool of knowledge.
