«Untore» o Unto del Signore? Triadi e controfigure onomastiche nella Diceria di Bufalino

Abstract

The Imitatio Christi, contained in Diceria dell’untore, is based on an interpretation of the Trinity, in which the focus of interest is on the narrator Gesù-Gesualdo, Marta Levi and Gran Magro. By imitating and then changing the Scriptures, Bufalina provides his hero with a plan of (pseudo)death and redemption, based not on belief in God, but on literature. The lack of a name as well as onomastic suprabundance make up a plot that ends with the rescue of a new meaning of the Scriptures, instead of the Resurrection.
