Abstract

Which value and which role has signature in literature? Is it the act by which an author claims the authorship of his own work? But isn’t it the act by which some sequences of words, or an image, become a text as well? Is not the signature an object, a graphic shape, a sign our body leaves? These are just some of questions raised by the most apparently trivial form a name can take – in fact, instead, among its most sophisticatedly ambiguous one.
